![]() ![]() Most multiboxers have 2 accounts and play a healer with some other type of character. There are many different ways to multibox and people use the software in different ways. In many ways it is more like a programmable keyboard, although in contrast to programmable keyboards we exclude any ability to auto-fire or delay actions - the player has to be at the keys pressing buttons in order for anything to happen. (Looking at you Turbine and Gazilion!) Multiboxing software in general, and including ISBoxer, does not automate gameplay or change the game behavior with cheats or hacks. Multiboxing software is allowed by most games' EULAs and Terms of Service - although some of those agreements inadvertently prohibit you from using ANY software on your PC while playing games, including FRAPS, while in practice the publisher has always allowed FRAPS as well as multiboxing software. Some game publishers embrace multiboxers, while others treat multiboxing like the plague (notably ArenaNet with Guild Wars 2). You could say I spent a lot of time on EverQuest back in the day. And EQPlayNice for limiting framerate to free up some CPU and GPU for additional game instances. ![]() When our favorite EverQuest windowing software (the game didn't used to operate in a window at all), EQWindows, was no longer being updated by "Just Some Dude" I produced similar software - WinEQ, WinEQ 2, as well as a more strict clone of EQW called EQLindows. I've written many other gaming-related tools including a free real-time log parser called EQWatcher that once was popular for EverQuest.
